Our History

HALF Fish Training was born from a crisis .... spoiled plans / careers that meant a total family re-org .... but from the disappointment was created something that gave back to a community and sport that inspires, develops and cares for those it comes into contact with.

HALF Fish Training started off on a dining room table.  Over the years we had the opportunity to travel the world tutoring and developing "Fishes". 

In 2016 we had the opportunity to create our own fishbowl .... we created a CIC and took on a historic pool .... it had its challenges - but it became our home, and home to a fabulous set of staff, teachers, and swimmers .... we document its history and also share the pictures we took of the events we did and the people who did it with us!!  Please click here to see the gallery.

Built in 1905 for the community, HALF Fish HQ at Daisyfield Pools was our home for 7 years ... unfortunately the local authority decided that repairs for its upkeep were too much and closed the pool in 2023.  We were very disappointed but vowed to continue to work in the community and take our unique teaching style to the masses when we deliver our courses at other venues.
